Executive Officer

Brandy Benjamin is a native of Hartsville and is currently employed with the Darlington County School District as a Coordinating Teacher.

She began her teaching career at Darlington County Community Action Agency Head Start. Brandy later graduated from Coker College and holds two

Masters Degrees in Curriculum & Instruction and Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University.

As a twenty-year veteran teacher, teaching has always been a passion of hers since

she was a little girl.

Brandy and her husband, Kwanza reside in Hartsville with their two wonderful

sons, Kristian and Brent. In her spare time, she loves to travel, spend time with her

family, and ride her bike. Her favorite quote is “Expect the Great” as she uses each

school year to touch the lives of the children she encounters.

The Child and Family Resource Foundation gathers in one place a wide range of necessary fundamental services that address the mental health, education, and overall wellness of children and families. Our services help develop positive outcomes in children and their families using awareness of social-emotional skill development, parent education, and school preventive measures, in addition to addressing social-emotional problems that currently exist within families.
