Executive Officer, Vice President

Homegrown Hartsville: I was born in Hartsville, studied at Coker College, started a career in Darlington County School District, and chose to start a family here.

I was an undergraduate at Coker College, majoring in Political Science and English Education. After graduation, I was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to Indonesia. Upon its completion, I came back to Darlington County to work for Darlington County Schools, first as a teacher, district coordinator and finally as Director of Personnel. I currently serve as the Executive Director of the South Carolina Education Oversight Committee.

I completed a J.D. at the Charlotte School of Law with academic honors, a Masters in Literacy, and I am currently working to complete a doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of South Carolina.

I look forward to continuing to work for this community.
