Written by: Diane DeLucia, First Baptist Church Liason Did you know that First Baptist Church partners in ministry with the Child & Family Resource Center located right here on our church grounds? When asked what they desire most, children often say they are looking for a "real home." As a community, we are joining together to raise awareness, and April 2026 has been declared Child Abuse Prevention Month. To further highlight the vital work happening in our area, Mayor Dan Askins will issue a proclamation recognizing the Child & Family Resource Center as "Hope in Hartsville." This will take place at the Hartsville City Counil meeting on Monday, April 13. Everyone is invited to attend! Stay tuned for more details as they become available. Save the Date!
The annual All Seasons Healing Hearts Camp will be held on Saturay, May 16, right here on the First Baptist campus. We are grateful for the passionate volunteers and mentors who make this day so meaningful -- and we we welcome anyone who would like to join us. The "real home" our children seek is found in the warmth and love of our entire community. More information will be shared as we get closer to the event. Calling All Pickleball Enthusiasts!
